Just south of Hickory and only 50 minutes from Charlotte Douglas Airport, this property is an awesome property for deer, turkey and more! The marketable pines were selectively cut 10-15 years ago, but the hardwoods were untouched leaving mast production and great mixed habitat with plenty of trees for stands. There is also a small stream that runs through the property providing water. The landowner has not allowed hunting recently, so this property is bound to book up fast and produce. You can access the trail on the property by entering between the 2 evergreens. A walking stick is recommended if wet, trail becomes steep at times and clay is quite slippery. You can navigate off the trail, but be aware there is a little underbrush grown up and green briars.
