About This Property

This property has been in the same family for almost 100 years. The owner loves the land and wants to share the property with others that will treat the property respectfully. The property is twenty three beautiful and historic acres on Jackson Lake with two creeks flowing through it. This is a great place to hunt, explore, learn about Virginia and have fun! Lots of different animals come through this property due to the proximity to water and forest coverage. It's a great place to hunt deer, duck turkey and more. The majority of the property is wooded with hiking trails throughout. There are 2 open fields. One used for a rifle range, other can be used for various activities, including but not limited to church group functions, drone flying, stargazing, corporate retreats, etc. Secluded lakeside patio with barbecue also available. Sinclair's Mill is also a USGA historical site. This year is its 200 year anniversary. It was the site of the Mill, also has a pre-Civil War gold mine. The property also has a non-functioning WPA privy on the property built during the great depression. Be aware there is a little weekend boat traffic on the lake on the weekends, but other than that, exclusively yours. The owner has a canoe, kayak, and rowboat you are welcome to use during your reservation. There is a concrete dock, and the owner is in the process of wanting to build a floating dock. There is a great sandy spot of Lake Jackson to take a swim as well. Portable sanitary facility enclosure available for use while on the property. The proceeds from the listing will allow the owner to make improvements to the property like adding a zipline and bridge across the creek.

Bald Eagles, owls, etc. And horseback riding AND Gold Panning Rifle range in one of the fields on the property The owner does not currently own dogs but does love them. Welcome to bring your 4 legged companions if you desire.
